It is a now disused rail viaduct – has been closed for probably 50 years or more and nothing has ever happened to it. I always wished they had turned it into something like the High Line in New York.
Oh, OK. I seem to always associate those with the Romans which did build those arches in how many places in the UK…
I wish they would do something with them there – they have stood abandoned for many years. I always hoped for something like the High Line in New York.
That would be a wonderful use for it! I’ve never been to NYC but you sure have and crossed an ocean to do it too. ππ¬π§πΊπΈ
Wow, Amazing Photo. I believe that to be close to Paradise the Lord Jesus Christ once spoke about in Luke 23:43. This may be an ignorant question, but have you ever considered selling prints of your work?
I have but to be honest if I started selling them I think it would take the fun out of it for me. My pleasure comes from other people enjoying my photos, not from trying to sell them.

Thanks for the information – When on a canal boat a decade ago, we went over an aquaduct over a river. Magic!
That sounds great!
Looks quite magical, with the sky like that too
Thank you! It is a lovely place and quite hidden!

Such beauty, a lovely garden! Is that a Roman viaduct up there?
It is which was then used as a railway but unfortunately has been closed for around 50 years now

Amen.
The sky, trestle, and mix of flora and landscaping make this shot magical – like a scene out of a fantasy. Very nice photo!
Thank you so much!! π
